Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1993 Toyota pick-up with just 68k original miles. Toyota trucks have an excellent reputation for quality and reliability. I would rate the exterior of this Toyota to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It is finished in dark red with gray interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific truck, the paint is a little faded on the roof and there is come clear coat missing along the right side. As a whole, the exterior shows well. The body is free of damage and rust...which is remarkable for a Toyota truck of this age. Even the bumpers look good. The underside looks rust-free, too. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber. The fronts have good tread but the rears are looking a little thin.

As with most older Toyota trucks, the interior is fairly simple. The door cards are clean and tight. The vinyl floors are in good condition. The vinyl seat is torn in a few spots from age, which is common. The dash and headliner are clean. The windows roll up and down easily. The rear window slides open and closed easily, too. The radio is original and sounds fine. The heater works well. This truck is not equipped with air conditioning. A full set of owners books are included. The bed has a York Load Lock bedliner...2x10 included.

Mechanically, this little truck appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.2L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. If I'm being picky, it could probably benefit from a tune-up. When it warms up, it seems to idle a little low for some reason...but it runs and drives with no problems. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five speed manual transmission are smooth and clean, as they should be. This little Toyota was clearly someone's "get around town" truck. With only 68k original miles, this little truck will possibly outlast some of the new trucks out there...they just don't make 'em like that anymore. This little truck has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of January, 2017. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
