Description

Super rare Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55. Title in hand. Original drivetrain. No rust.

The FJ55 was produced from 1968-1979. However, the most valuable FJ55s are the 1975-1979 because they were equipped withthe 2F engine with a 4 speed transmission.FJ55s arein short supply due to the use and abuse over the years, and the owners of most well cared for FJ55s just don't want to part with them. They may be waiting to cash in on thephenomenal numbers thatFJs been fetching at Barrett Jackson and Mecum auctions as of late. Unfortunately many parts are no longer available, and a complete restoration isvery expensive, time consuming, andchallenging.

Built in Japan only, of the 9,236 Land Cruisers imported to the U.S. in 1976, only a handful were FJ55s. Most of the FJ55 production went to Australia.

This FJ55 retainsthe original drivetrain (4.2L straight 6 with a 4 speed transmission) the same as FJ40s. Original work light, radio, warranty card, fuses, etc. come with the truck. All O.E.M. parts were used in the restoration.

Non O.E.M. additions include: a new 7' safari rack from Specter Off Road in CA, Hella LED lights, a 8,000 lb. Warn winch, Brush guard, BFGs, etc.

Everything works including the power tailgate window.

Email me your number if you are buying it and want to discuss logistics. Do NOT contact me if you need your wife's permission or the funds are not available. This is a 40 year old vehicle and does not have a warranty.
