1971 Toyota Land Cruiser fj40, Very solid fj40 mostly stock, changes made== front axle replaced with the axle from a 1978 with disk brakes, axle, brakes and hubs rebuilt at the time of installation along with rear brakes, parking brake and brake lines, all new front en, tie rods ball joints, leaf spring bushings front and rear, newer tires less than 500 miles on them, underside is very clean, replaced points with a electronic dist. there are a few bad spots on the body small bubbles in a few spots, mileage could be 38,000 but I have no way to prove that so I am calling it 138,000 this FJ sat in a barn for many years in Iowa the oil changes are recorded under the hood with pencil and stopped at the mileage when I found it, the compression in each cylinder is great. runs great has a small stutter when accelerated hard, This fj came with a canvas top that I replaced with a hard top from a 1969 fj, The dash has been modified to accept a stereo, it has a header, exhaust is in good shap, most all the work was done about 4000 miles ago and about 7 years ago

When running lights are on, left turn signal has stopped working. Driver's side window regulator slips a little when raising or lowering window, but it does support the window firmly in the closed position.
