This fj40 also has Chevy power steering and a safari fuel cell as a second tank with a manual fuel switch inside cab in between seats. It runs cool with a aluminum radiator and has a 4 speed transmission with first gear being a crawling ratio. The half role cage has a supporting beam in the center for stability in case of a role.
