Description

This Triumph just came out of eight years of climate controlled storage after the owner passed away. This is one of four TR6's he had (all at one time). I just posted a half-hour long Youtube video of this car - pictures in the sun from all angles, in the shop under florescent lights, driving it top-up and top-down, and pictures of the frame and suspension. https://youtu.be/YJh3LTzlZUY
This car looks great. It sounds even better and everything works. I made an effort to show that in the video. I have yet to find a drop of oil under it either. Not promising...just sayin'. The engine starts every time, right away. It's got plenty of power and the gearbox is smooth. The overdrive works perfectly and drops engine RPM by 500. The synchros feel great - you can downshift all the way to 1st and not hear a single tooth complain.
All the lights work - the license plate lights, the courtesy lights, the glovebox light, the hazard lights, and every instrument light. The heater and wipers and windshield-squirter all work. You do have to push the horn button just right to get a beep, but I'll have a look at that.
The suspension is tight and the convertible top looks brand new, as does the snap-down cover that goes over it. There are some every day scratches and a couple of dents. There is also some rust spots on the inside of the rocker panels (out of sight) and another spot on the body under-wrap beneath the rear bumper (also out of sight). I include pictures of these spots near the end of the Youtube video. A frame shop inspected the frame and checked the suspension. The frame is rust-free (other than typical surface) and straight, and the suspension is tight. Watch the video for details. Thanks.
