Description

Up for Auction is my 1980 Triumph TR7 in Brooklands Green.

The mileage is showing 38867. Probably a few more miles than that I think.

I've had her a little over two years and the only reason I'm letting her go is

because she deserves to be driven more. But I've had a lot of fun working on her and driving her in the countryside on the twisty's.

This thing is a head turner when she's on the road and I've had people pull over outside the house to take a look.

I believe the paint is about ten years old. It isVERY presentable but not prefect, so please do not expect a100% show car.

There is no AC, that was removed before I bought her. Although I do have the main components.

Don't even think of placing a bid if your from Cali'. The anti-smog is all but gone.

In the time I've had her I've:-

installed a new water pump and thermostat,

rocker gasket,

clutch, flywheel gear and starter motor

SU carb conversion ($1,000 alone for the carbs)

Repaired the washer stalkand replaced the blinker stalk

Repaired the drivers seat, so your butt doesn't hit the floor.

New soft top

horn

washer motor

wheel hubs

decals

I did go all black on the interior. I had to repair the drivers seat when I got her. The bladder

had collapsed and the seat was all torn. I couldn't find a replacement seat. So I repaired the seat so

you can feel comfortable, the torn part was taped up and a padded cover from Autozone

glued on. Works a treat.

The only areas on the bodywork that would require a little attention in the future are the two fenders, at the

bottom of the arch on both sides. See pics

The only mechanical issue I'm not happy with, is the manual choke cable I installed for the SU's.

It only closes one carb. I was thinking of adding a second cable but didn't get around to it.

I installed a new soft top about two years ago. That was the last time I saw it. It's been down since.

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like. If you would like to hear her running, message me

your number or email address and I'll forward a video.

The car is advertised locally, so I do reserve the right to close the auction early.

CAR IS LOCATED IN WAXAHACHIE TEXAS, not Plainfield Illinois.

For some reason I cannot change the location. That's my old address.
