1962 Triumph Tr4. Surry Top Convertable

1962 Tr 4 in excellent condition. I have owned this Tr 4 for many years. began what was a years long restoration at purchase. A BODY ON RESTO WAS ALL IT NEEDED. started with replacing suspension parts; bushings, springs all steering joints as well. Carriers all rebuilt. Next engine was tested and found to be very strong: lower end was in perfect condition: Head was completely rebuilt however as were carbs. runs perfectly. all wiring redone, and fog lights were added. new distributed; new high output generator as well. this car has a really sweet engine that is ready for some serious driving ! no disappointments here.
Redo on interior furnishings including insulation seats carpets leather panel set. Wood steering wheel; Wood dash. carpet covered rear speakers behind seats. heated seats.
car was originally white. changed to Ferrari Red. beautiful color on this car ! the paint is new this year.
take note please. I am a triumph guy and restored this car for road duty as I do all my cars. I drive all my cars. they are not trailer Queens ! this is a drivers restoration. it is gorgeous but not perfect. I drive it regularly. {I have 3 other triumphs 2 of which are restored and one in restoration now} I race a !962 Tr4 also. I like Triumphs but as I am getting older some of the toys must go. 12 cars are too many ! cannot work on them all anymore ! have invested around 30 K in this car but I understand what it is worth. My loss your gain, as they say.
now for the tops: it is a Surry top car. the Surry top has three separate top covers. a double fiberglass cover. cloth black and cloth white also. the tan top itself is beautiful cloth, not vinal ordered custom from England. includes tan cloth tonneau cover. ALSO !!! as any early Tr owner knows, what a task raising and lowering the stock Tr4 top. so I fixed this. like I say, it is a drivers car. so I put a TR^ top frame and top on it. now it opens and closes in just minutes ! great fix. it fits beautifully and is DRY.
Has original painted wires new correct tires.{but radials} peanut type tread,like the old Michelins. Great price, Great Car. The work is all done.
