Description

1975 Triumph TR6. One owner car since new. As told by the original owner to us when we took over care, “When manufactured in England, they put the spare keys in the right front turn signal for safe keeping during shipment” “Not knowing that, when the car was delivered to me the sales rep showed me where that spare set of keys was located”…. That is where the extra set still remain to this day! Finished in its original Mimosa...Yellow over Chestnut vinyl interior and with wooden dashboard. Delivered to it’s original owner on 9-25-75 to Allen Imports, Cedar Rapids Iowa. The car is in nice condition with only traces of it’s use. Equipped with a chrome luggage rack and the stock 15? steel wheels, which were refinished and show nicely with newer redline tires as ordered from the factory. The car is powered by the correct 2498CC, inline 6 cylinder engine attached to the 4-speed manual gearbox (no over- drive). The (OEM style) soft top retains clean surfacing and fairly clear rear window, and is accompanied by it’s original hardtop, tonneau cover and boot in equal condition. Things that have been done over the years: Tune up, adjust valves, adjust carburetors, reset timing, new front brakes & new headlight switch. Rebuild front suspension, lower and upper bushings, added Koni racing shocks and replace master brake cylinder & bled clutch. Replaced all 4 fender panels with fiberglass panels to lighten car. He had planned to road race the car but never got around to doing it. Then he had the car totally repainted. Replaced the seat foam and added new seat covers along with new carpet. This 1975 Triumph TR6 shows 54k miles and is a well-preserved example that’s ready to be enjoyed.
