Triumph TR3a originally red
Description
...I have owned this TR3 for 20 years, doesn't look like I'm going to get to it. This TR3 has the TR4 style drive train which is the bigger engine and the full syncro TR4 A type overdrive transmission. It needs full resto but its mostly all there. Has its original floors, body will need rust repair, frame is good.Doors and bonnet and trunk all shut correct and well. I think I have the rear bumper-ettes and front emblem and I do have the set of correct seats. The hard top does not go with it its for an Austin Healey. The car is not runnig but the engine turns and it did run great. It has a old cloth top and old side curtains. I will include the fotos later when I take them. this is a worthy project needing a new owner, and basically and uncobbled car with a few minor exceptions.the tires only hold air for a few hours and it will need a winch to load, rear wheel barely turns.More later as it comes to me or ask away...commission # TS 66778 L hard to read
trunk not rotted out spare tire area has some rust at the usual places but NOT rotted out, battery box not rotted out inner fenders solid as a rock and not rotted out doors open and close perfect no sag, front end not mashed, rear end not mashed. yes it has bondo, but bottom of fenders still there not air holes, STRONG running TR4 engine and head, with working full syncro overdrive w/ correct switch,(worth 2.5 3K right there) all gauges present and accounted for, dash not cut or cobbled, ID plate correct...floors patched but still in there no fred flintstone stuff...and as stated I have the seats. It has good glass and the top bows...it even looks good from 30 feet soaking wet....
I also have a SW Az from new 58 TR3 driver totally rust free, but needs paint and interior one owner for the last 60+ years bought new with 64 miles on it with documents and original AZ title for 15,900.oo ono
