** 1975 TRIUMPH TR6 SPORTS CAR **
BROUGHT TO US BY A GOOD FRIEND, SHOP OWNER AND COLLECTOR WHO HAS OWNED IT FOR CLOSE TO A DECADE.THE CAR WAS DRIVEN FROM TIME TO TIME AND HAS BEEN ON THE ROAD UP UNTIL ABOUT NINE MONTHS AGO.
THE PAINT SHOWS SOME TYPE OF OLDER RE-PAINT THAT HAS FADED OVER TIME.NICE BODY GAPS INCLUDING OPENING / CLOSING OF THE DOORS, HOOD AND TRUNK LID.THE BODY IS OVERALL VERY SOLID WITH NO SIGNS OF RUST OR ANY ROT.SUPER SOLID FLOORS, TRUNK PAN AND FIREWALL.DECENT TRIM AND BRIGHTWORK, ALTHOUGH THEY DO SHOW AGE… CONVERTIBLE TOP IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE, BUT COULD USE A GOOD CLEANING.
INTERIOR APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL AND COULD USE A GOOD CLEANING / DETAIL TO REALLY BRING IT BACK TO LIFE.WORKING GAUGES, HORN, LIGHTS AND SIGNALS.
*BELIEVED TO BE* ORIGINAL 2,500cc INLINE SIX CYLINDER, MANUAL TRANSMISSION W/ OVERDRIVE AND REAREND.MOTOR STARTS RIGHT UP AND SETTLES TO SMOOTH IDLE WITH NO SMOKING.MANUAL TRANSMISSION ENGAGES NICE, ALTHOUGH UPON DRIVING, INSTANT CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT AND WHILE SHIFTING AT SPEED I FEEL A BANG / NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR… IT ONLY HAPPENS WHILE SHIFTING THROUGH THE GEARS….?OUTSIDE OF THAT – IT DRIVES GREAT…GOOD BRAKES, GOOD TREAD ON TIRES, TRACKS STRAIGHT.
