Here is a 1972 TR6 convertible, damson red (color code 17)with a tan interior. Car was repainted, but in the original color. Car gives a nice overall appearance, good paint and a like-new interior. Chrome on the front is beautiful, rearbumper not quite as nice. The car drives well, engine and transmission strong and smooth. Car has a JVC stereo w/ CD player. Has a wood-rim Motolita steering wheel. The sometimes troublesome Strombergcarbs have been replaced with a more traditionalpair of 1-3/4 SU's, resulting in slightly more horsepower and better throttle response. Has redline tires in good condition. The body and frame appear to be solid with no signs of rust. A substantial set of service records go with the car.
Now for the rest. The passenger's door has a very small dent, circled in picture. The heater is disconnected. There is a heater box in the car, some piping is missing. We do not know what the original problem was. Rear wheel bearing makes a little noise. This is a consignment car, so we need to sell it as is. Hopefully, the price will reflect this, so that the new owner may attend to these things.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Car is for sale locally, so auction is subject to end early.
