Description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this exceptionally nice and clean TR3A Roadster in fantastic colors. This car was just purchased from it's owner from the state of Georgia, who purchased the car originally from it's long term Texas owner. The car was nicely restored some years back, and is still presenting beautifully today, only showing a little age to the restoration. The body and paintwork on this car has been completed to a good standard. The paintwork is vibrant and very glossy. It only shows some minor chips from use and a few hairline cracks here and there, normal for it's age. During the restoration, the car was treated to all new chromework with a perfect fitting grille. A new windshield was also fitted along with a complete rubber kit.A new wiring harness was also fitted at the time. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and detailed, and was stripped and repainted along with the car at the time of the paintwork. The engine has been nicely detailed hinting at possibly an engine rebuild. A new stainless exhaust system has been fitted. The car rides on very nice Michelin 165x15 XZX Radials with high quality 60-spoke stainless wire wheels which gives the car a brilliant look. The car's interior presents very well in it's restored condition, showing newer upholstered seats, panel kit, carpet kit, restored and detailed dashboard with all original gauges. The car includes a new tonneau and top boot in correct black crush grain vinyl. The car's engine starts easily on the key with little choke, revs will with no smoke and good oil pressure, and drives nicely down the road with robust power. First and reverse gear is showing some typical "chippy" wear for the car's age/mileage, but the rest of the gearbox feels great with nice shifting syncros. Brakes and suspension feel up to par.Overall, a super attractive and fun TR3A in great colors. This car exhibits fairly good panel fit and has been restored in the past to a very good standard.
