With the average Roadster Salon restoration starting at about $40,000--it is very rare for us to have an entry level convertible that runs and drives in this price range. Forget the "ran when parked" project car that has been sitting for the last 20 years. This convertible was started yesterday, tuned, and is now ready for the next customer to enjoy. This Spitfire was traded in to us as a parts car, but after spending a Saturday doing some minor repairs,... it sprang back to life. In our opinion, it could be a fun driver with only some chassis details and a little attention to the interior. If the car meets our target price we are including a new water pump at no charge. In our opinion, this treasure is too straight and runs too well to part out. It deserves the chance to get back on the road again, and bring joy to its new owner. The Spitfire is a very simple car, and easy for someone with mechanical inclination to master. An ideal candidate for a Father/Son weekend project. Fun to drive now, and potentially admire later. Car looks presentable as is, but could easily be a sweetheart with some attention to cosmetics. Car has good value relative to NADA guide. Parts alone worth what we are asking. Sold with bill of sale only, but we could potentially help with a bonded title, depending on your state. Don't miss this one.
