Description

Up for auction is my 1st year 1969 Triumph TR 6. She's a rare bird being a 1969 given they only made 6632 of them in 1969 but what really makes her rare is she's a true numbers matching car retaining her original engine with only 53,168 miles on the odometer. She is a project but the engine runs and runs well. I'm moving and can't take her with me. My loss is your gain.
Numbers: If you know these cars than you'll know these numbers meaning / importance in proving shes a true numbers matching car. Vin# CC 29787 , Body# 29806, Engine# CC 29902 HE, Paint Code #34 Jasmine Yellow and Code Trim # 11 Black.
What you see in the auction photos is what you get. Nothing more / nothing less. If you know these cars then you know how rare a 1st year 1969 is and even rarer with the original engine. Car runs and runs well but hydraulics are down do to sitting so she can't be driven. As well the right rear trailing arm needs repair. Car has a nice dash with all original "Smith" gauges and nice seats. Tires, wheels are good and has a complete new set of correct chrome lug nuts installed along with a new battery. She is a project but heck the engine, transmission, rear end, seats, dash, gauges and Vin tag / title are worth my asking price. Well worth the effort given her rarity. My asking price is half of what you could part the car out for. Open to fair and reasonable offers. Clear state issued title. n Closing: The above description is my observations / opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. If I have missed anything in the cars description it was not my intention so please ask for as much detail as you need to make an informed decision on the car prior to bidding. Don't want the winning bidder saying afterwards well you missed this or that. Be a responsible bidder and ask all questions prior to bidding. If I missed anything it was not my intention. Not an expert and trying to describe her as fair and accurate as possible. Car is located at my friends house about 30 miles from my house. I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or any extra photos please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. She's a 50 year old project car and what you see in the photos is what you get. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as in "as is" condition and mileage exempt. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end. No exceptions on sending the required $500 deposit.
