Triumph TR-6 1973
Description
I'm selling my '73 TR-6 in order to make room for a boat I just bought. I purchased the TR-6 about 15 years ago with the intention of doing a complete restoration. Unfortunately, due to illnesses and other bumps along the way, I didn't get around to everything. I did a good amount of work to the car including a rebuild to the top half of the engine. I also gave it a brake job, new starter, electronic ignition, fuel pump, new seat diaphrams, and other things I can no longer recall. It was rejected for inspection in the fall of 2010 because of ball joints. It's been sitting inside my garage since then. I started it up often, but 2 years ago the battery died and I haven't started it since. Overall, the car is pretty solid with only some surface rust (as can be seen in the pictures). It will need tires, the carburetors will need a rebuild, and I am including 2 kits for that. I'm also tossing in theextra parts I've accumulated over the year, and the complete Chilton manual. The car is being sold "as is", andI offer no implicit or explicit guarantees. So please feel free to ask any questions before bidding, and I'll do my best to answer them as best I can. If you're a halfway decent Saturday mechanic, this will make for a good winter project and be ready for fun driving in the spring!I am setting a low opening bid price for a fast sale. Buyer assumes the costs of shipping. Please note that the car is listed on other selling sites. Therefore, I reserve the right to cancel this listingat any time.
