Here is an alloriginalCalifornia 1981 TR8. less than 400 were made for this last year for Triumph. In this color, Calvary Blue, only 18 were made and only 9 of those isknownto survive. It has survived with completelyoriginalexcept for the tires and seat covers. It has been impossible to buy correct seat skins and tops of this type for about 15 years. I didn't want to purchase one of the existing top out there currently because they are not even close to theoriginaltan tops. The wheels are the correct TR8 gray color and areunpaintedfrom new. The mechanics are also alloriginal and the engine has never beenopenedfor any major repair. Yes, this car will need a lot of work to make it showworthy, yes it has door dings, yes it has minor rust around the wheel wells, and yes at 134,000 miles the engine will need a rebuild at some point, but it is an extremely rare TR8. I have driventhiscar only around 4000 miles since I purchased it eight years ago, but 2500 miles of it wasacrosscountry to Arizona. A lot of the fuel injection system hasbeenreplaced, but at current is running well. Trans andrearend are great as well. Please email any questions using the ebay system.
