1976 triumph TR7
Description
1976 Triumph TR7 also known as "the wedge the shape of things to come" almost a survivor over all the car is in good shape for being forty years old inside out. i say almost a survivor since it dose look as if it was painted at some point in its life mid to to early eighty's it has stickers on the paint for Buckley airbase going back to 1987 but the paint is still holding up pretty good. this car had been sitting since 2013 when i got it and was towed home where it was looked over given new oil and plugs and the rings soaked in a house cocktail and left to soak before even trying to move the motor which was done by hand to make sure not to damage anything. i was able to get running carburetors where rebuilt after starting and new tires where installed brakes still feel good and the transmission and clutch feel great. other things to note is it a manual choke car this a good thing and it dose drive lights work has both keys a clean title in my name also have the owners manual. i have only driven this car around the block a few times and i do know it dose still need some work runs fine off idle not to happy at idle so the carburetors need to be set probably should also should set the timing at the same time like i said the car had been sitting these things are normal. other thing there is some light rust bubbles in a couple spots nothing big and drivers recline latch needs to be fixed. this would make an easy winter project for someone for next summers weekend driver or father son project feel free to ask questions i am setting a very low reserve on this car is in Denver.
-this is a smog free car NO catalytic converter required this means its a great car for a V8 swap or any engine swap
