Offered for sale is a very clean almost all Original Paint 1987 Volkswagen Westfalia camper with the poptop, refrigerator, stoveand two sleeping areas.
This two owner van was sold new in Southern California and has been very well maintained by dealerships, VW repair specialists and lovingly stored.
No rust issues or welding ever done. The body is nice as you will find these days with just a little over 161k miles on the working odometer. This VW wears most of its factory L90 Alpineweiss paint, aside from the two rear most posts and lower area below the engine were blended from a minor scrape years ago. The nose has worn a bra for most of its life keeping the rock chips on the front to a minimum.
This van runs incredibly well and has been driven frequently recently on family outings, with jaunts on the freeway, easily keeping up with the modern traffic flow. Lots of receipts and service records available. The tires are the correct heavy rating 14" with lots of tread.
The tent is original and still works well though it has a little wear along one area which has required a small patch, but with proper care can be nursed along for a few more seasons.
The curtains, interior and sleeping areas are all in good condition for their age and show nicer than most you will find. There is some minor wear and staining in spots which is typical for a vehicle of this vintage.
The stove and refrigerator both work.
This is your chance to purchase a clean Vanagon ready to camp inthis Summer.
