Up for sale a 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible in White, and in great shape and with a clean and clear Oregon Title. STARTS AT THE FIRST OR SECOND TURN OF THE KEY WITHOUT ANY SPUTTERING OR DYING. GOOD SOLID ENGINE . The odometer is not working, but she had a little over ten million miles before it stopped working. Please refer to pictures of the under carriage to see NO RUST, but only specks of the original Yellow Paint. She's all there, needs the wipers and wiper motor looked at. The BLACK TOP has A COUPLE quarter-size holes, so I used some Gorilla Tape, and that stuff holds like cement, so it's NOT a complete REDO, but it's not a have-to fix whatsoever right now. She has been outside all winter with no drips or leaks from the convertible top. ALSO INCLUDED IS A PREMIUM CAR COVER. You could wait a few years and have both the headliner & a cover done together at the same time, and pay for it once. The owner before me had her stored in a garage and had little mice that liked the headliner for some reason, and there are two areas up towards the front that are "chewed", BUT IT IS COMPLETELY COSMETIC. I have a solid VW convertible top person with a top-notch company in SW Portland if you need a good quality recommendation. Star Wars Stormtrooper shift knob included no extra cost. Portland BROKE RECORDS FOR RAIN this winter and the car cover quality I purchased meant that she survived beautifully with it in use. I took the cover off a couple times to test the top, and had no leaks, so it's good to know she's OK outside with or without the Car Cover if you have to.
Purchased a couple years ago and was going to do a COMPLETE RESTORATION, but unfortunately don't have the time to do it. It shows an attempted restoration from backing into something on the back quarter panel right next to yellow turn signal light, about 9"X6" in size, the reason I noticed it was from the white paint they used to cover it, and shows crackling. Comes with month-old oil change, and SIX MONTH OLD battery. SAY BYE TO THE OREGON DEQ FOREVER !! Has a Kenwood CD player with removable faceplate.! IN VERY NICE SHAPE FOR BEING OVER 40 YEARS OLD.
