1982 volkswagen vanagon westfalia camper van
Description
I've owned this bus since spring of 2012. When I purchased it it had the motor professionally rebuilt at 97,000 miles. In the time I've owned it I put on an additional 39,000. I am the 3rd owner, 1st purchased in South Carolina, 2nd in Baltimore, then myself spending its time in Ohio and now Colorado. I've driven it east coast to west coast and everywhere in between with no issues other than general maintenance and tune ups. This bus starts right up and runs strong. In the time I've owned it it was always garage kept only using it between May-Sept. never seen snow. Have all maintenance records from my ownership and previous owners including rebuild and original manuals.DETAILS:-repainted original factory blue, minor knicks, scrapes from use, nothing major, blue is very vibrant (pics don't do it justice)-updated steering wheel-vintage airglide illuminated compass-am/fm/cd/usb/aux stereo, Sony/Kenwood speakers-propane stove-sink-refrigerator (never used other than as a cooler)-original curtains/privacy curtains/rear screen-seats in great condition, no holes, always used covers-new pop top canvas with 3 screen windows-3 rows of gowesty Yakima roof rack mounts-top in great condition, no leaks/cracks-brand new BF Goodrich all terrain tires-brush guard/Hella fog lights-tow package-high performance cam-solid lifters-new steering rack-new shift rod bushings/cv boots/tie rods/radius rod/droplink bushings-bilstein gas shocks (first thing I did)-fresh tune up/alignment-new fuel pump-Fiamma rv grade crank out awning (1k$)-new battery-110 plug ins interior/exteriorNEGATIVES:-washer fluid does not spray, might be a pump issue, never looked into it-water storage tank removed-only rust issues on entire vehicle pics 12,13....other than that extremely clean.-van may cause extreme addiction to travel/fun and may cause long bouts of not returning home for months on end if at all....
