Golf GTI 1986 VR6 swap
Description
'86 GTI body with a Corrado VR6 12v motor swap & basically every bolt-on. I have a new project and won't be driving this much, not in a huge rush to sell. I've owned the car for three years, put at least 10k into go-fast parts since then. Engine swap, seats/harnesses, coilover suspension and clutch was done by the previous owner. Everything else was done during my ownership mostly by NGP Racing in Aberdeen MD.

330k miles on the body according to VIN, cluster says 187k, previous owner claimed 60k miles on swapped motor when I bought it and I've put on 20k since then, but I had no way to verify. Seemed like an honest guy, doesn't burn any oil, runs strong and starts easily cold or warm.
- 276 cam- Eurosport CAI- coil pack and spark plugs replaced- Techtonics mk3 header- Custom side-exit exhaust, no cat, one small resonator (f%*#ing LOUD)- Car is BEGGING for a turbo- Short shift kit- AC delete
Interior:- completely gutted, front door cards are there right now but easily removed- oil presssure/oil temp/battery voltage backlit gauge cluster- NRG quick-release wheel hub- Sparco wheel- Corbeau racing seats & harnesses- Rear roll cage
Exterior:- G6 flares- Big bumper kit- BC adjustable coilovers- Miro wheels (discontinued I'm told)- Big brake kit, plenty on the pads
