1970 VW Volkswagen Bus Van Kombi Runs Good
Description
For sale is a 1970 VW Bus. The bus runs really well and the engine sounds strong, but due to it needing new rear brakes ( I am including 2 new sets) and having a brake fluid leak at the Master Cylinder (I have the little tube that is supposed to fix the leak) I haven’t driven but around our small community. It shifts through the gears just fine and I have new bushings that will come with the bus. The other issue that will need to be addressed before it is road worthy is either welding the battery tray back in or welding a new one in. I am not a mechanic, but other than the brake issues it seems mechanically sound. The body is in pretty good shape as well. It has some inner rocker rust and the typical lower body rust you see in these. I have done a good deal of the grunt work and stripped it down to metal before putting a primer on it, but it isn’t ready to put the final paint on just yet as there are some areas someone more skilled than I can touch up better than I have. I stripped the inside as well and the seats are ok and worth saving. This bus is in good position to be a nice straightforward project. I have pictured all the stuff I took off it and I pictured and will list below all the new odds and ends that will come with it.
