Purchased Spring of 2011 and has been under wraps for the last 2.5 years at my parent's.
I live downtown Portland and she is too pretty for street parking. I wanted to limit unnecessary wear and tear. Living and working in the city, I have been commuting via public transportation or my own two feet. That said, I estimate total mileage under 2000 since motor rebuild. Most of the restoration was complete in 2011 and the motor was rebuilt Summer of 2015.
Restoration completed by the owner of German Autowerks, known to locals in the area for over 30 years. He completed all of the work at his private residence. Please no calls to the business regarding the vehicle. I can make arrangements to communicate with him for serious parties only. The vehicle is a stone's throw from my parents' house and the business is less than 3 miles, so it isn't difficult for me to reach him.
The Good: Everything listed above.
The Bad: Needs radio
The Ugly: few imperfections in paint: hood, passenger front fender, driver rear fender, driver door hinge, headlamp hardware (see photos) and the ashtray. The middle half ring for steering wheel needs to be hooked up. I have the part, just needs to be attached. There are a couple small spots that should be taken care of w/some extra elbow grease (interior, very minor)
Sold As Is of course. Needs Flat bed trailer or truck with lift gate for transport. Low low low rider indeed! Thank you and happy hunting!
