You're looking at a 1967 VW Safari Window in red exterior with tan interior. I have had many VW buses with 13, 21, 23 windows, but never had a patina looking and great driving bus like this. Very complete bus with all seats and panels. This is a 13- window, 9-seater deluxe bus.

Mechanical

This VW bus was professionally restored mechanically. It has a 1776cc engine with dual carbs. Sounds, runs and drives great. The clutch is in great condition and shifts throughout the gears very well. Compared to all my other VW buses, this one is pretty fast, reaching up to 75-80 MPH on freeway. The bus has front flipped spindles and a stock 67 bug transmission in the rear with offset Wagenswest spring plates. All the lights, gauges and horn are in working order. Has been upgraded to-12 Volt.

Exterior

The exterior is all original paint with some patina into it, which looks great. Although it has some rust, there's nothing that can affect driving and keeping the bus. Underneath is very solid. This bus has front safari windows and six pop outs. All windows are in great condition. The bus comes withcustom wide wheels: the rear ones are deep dish with almost new tires.

Interior

The interior has been completely re-done and is very neat - the seats' and the door panels' materials look like original type. The seat cushions feel good and firm.It has a hard to find full length middle seat.

The odometer shows 92,193 miles on the car, but it has only around 1,200 miles after the upgrade. 100% German bus ready to go to the new owner.

Disclaimer

People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. It is your responsibility to personally inspect the vehicle or send a third-party inspector that will perform an inspection to your satisfaction. Remember, this vehicle is from the1960’s, and even though I’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I’m not aware of, therefore they’re not in the description.

I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback!

This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
