1970 VW Westfalia Camper Montana Red Very Original One Owner 1973-2017
Description
I am selling a 1970 Montana Red VW Westfalia Camper. I bought this great Bus in April from a person who found it in Houston and bought it from the owner who had it since 1973. The Bus was last registered in Texas in 1994. The long-time owner was in the military and took exceptional care of this camper, and it really shows. When I was cleaning it, I did not find a single insect or mouse dropping in this Bus. There has been some body work done, but she still drives straight and true. I have been working on the Bus since April to get it to a condition where I feel comfortable finding her a new home. She still needs some odds and ends, most importantly the pop-top canvas needs replaced and she needs new tires, but I have sorted out quite a bit of the mechanical systems. She comes with the original Alaska title from 1973 as well as the Texas registration slips and a Texas application for title transfer. Everything has been signed over properly by the previous owner. Original M-Code plate, paint sticker, Volkswagen-Werk plate, and all VIN numbers match. She runs and drives great!!

I am sure there are some things I am forgetting about this awesome camper, but that is everything that I can remember right now. This is a no bullsh*t, clean, and supremely original Westfalia. I am a lifetime VW enthusiast. I used to have a full time VW service and restoration shop in Colorado, but now I buy them one at a time and fix them up with a certain allowance of time and money, and then sell them. I have spent many, many hours and a lot of money, blood, sweat, and tears working on this beautiful Bus. I am hoping to find her a new loving home where she will be enjoyed for years to come. I am extremely detail oriented and have tried to represent this vehicle as honest as possible. However, I can not offer any type of warranty. I can offer guidance and knowledge so that you can keep this Bus alive forever! My life goal is to make sure that old VW's will live on for another 75 years!! This is a fantastic and very original Westfalia camper, sure to put a smile on your face. You will be thanking me later when you are camping at the beach with 3 loose hippie chicks!!!
Because of the work already done, and the work needed still, I believe I have priced this gorgeous pop-top around market value. I will certainly help in any way that I can with transport arrangements. If you are serious about this camper, I suggest using the Buy-It-Now option to secure the deal. Vehicle is located at my workshop in Cypress, Texas which is a suburb of Houston, Texas. I can send more pictures via e-mail to any serious buyers. I can be contacted directly by telephone at 713-791-8371. I will try to respond as quickly as possible to all messages. I hope you are having a great summer 2017!
Please, only bid if you are serious about owning this great vintage automobile! Goodluck!
