1973 VW Type iii Squareback

You are looking at a 1973 Type iii Squareback. This was a daily driver for the last 10 years, but an addition to the family has forced me to modernize :) The engine was rebuilt about 12 years ago, so could use a going through. I changed over to EMPI carbs but have a set of Stromberg carbs and an oil bath air cleaner that could be refitted after a rebuild. Steering is very tight, brakes work well, and tires have good life in them on chrome rims. I also have a set of steel rims that I used for snow tires that have no tires on them now but will go with the car. This car was a show winner for many years and, with a little love, could get back to that condition quite easily. Hoping to find a loving owner for this German classic.
