1973 super beetle convertable
Description
This is a southern ut car one owner i was told same family all girls each took turns driving it to high school. it was in need of a resto,we put about 7 thousand and 8 months hard labor into it.we acquired it 8 mos ago and started by striping the car down and replacing the floor pan and two rear fenders,The body work was done by Zach from Washington customs and collision.the engine came out and got rebuilt by Jim Dalton a old time engine re builder from riverside ca.it received new cylinders and crank pistons carb and distributor.also new battery and a nice set of enkie wheels and brand new tires fairly new brakes and clutch..the new top and seats carpet and door panels were installed by brains upholstery they are the best around here and not cheap.paint was applied by ace at limited auto it is base clear and really stands out.new bumpers and brackets.there is still a few things that will need to be addressed like the generator is not charging i was told napa carry's a alternator that replaces the gen for around 80 bucks.also the weather striping could use some new pieces to make it a perfect restoration and the after market lights in the rear dont seam very bright might need a better ground.has a small oil leak around the oil screen thats it in a nut shell.a few more repairs and you will have one of the nicest 73's aroun, and im not looking for crazy money so please bid all you will i am going to sell it to the highest bidder no matter what. any questions please feel free to call me at 435-218-1357 tks mike
