Description

This is a very cool 1974 VW 412 that was saved from the crusher and brought back to life!

Vehicle just went through a major restoration.Vehicle had been in hibernation since the early 90's.Motor was removed, fully detailed, all engine tin was sand-blasted and painted.Fuel injection was removed and replaced with EMPI 34 dual carb kit. New motor mounts, exhaust gaskets, torque converter seals, and CV axils were cleaned and rebuilt.New battery and ground cable, new fuel lines and electric fuel pump installed.New ignition switch, rear brakes were adjusted and system bled. This car also was an original air-conditioned car that is no longer installed.

This is a very original vehicle.Interior is mostly original except for new carpet in rear hatch area.Original seats were re-stuffed with new foam material.On the exterior, pin-stripe was added along with NOS roof-rack.Rims are BRM replicas with good tires.

All electrical is in good working order except for blinkers and horn.This is a California-only car with very little rust. With minimal fine-tuning, this vehicle will make a great daily driver.Vehicle comes with original key, owners booklet, and 2 service manuals. Vehicle is currently registered and insured in California with clear title in hand.

There are very few running and drivingexamples of this vehicle in existence.
