1979 VW Superbeetle "Triple Black"

Last model made in Germany before they moved production to Mexico. Each dealership was given only one of these cars, since the Triple Blacks were a limited edition.

Pros:

New floor pans

I had the brakes tuned up and they work great.

New cylinder heads, valves

New roof

Turn signals work

Headlights work including high beams

Cons:

Heater doesn't work

Stereo isn't hooked up

Rear glass window of convertible top isn't in all the way (just needs to be installed all the way- but all parts and seals are there)

Missing window seals (very easy and inexpensive to buy)

You can see there is a lot of rust, which gives it a cool look and character. That's actually what made me buy it, because of its unique look from the rust. You can either drive like that or restore it. It's road worthy as is. Gets a lot of looks and is a true original.
