1974 VW Beetle - Classic

This is a limited edition 1974 Sunbug. It is an original New Mexico car and has no rust.

I have replaced virtually all the rubber, and replaced the carpets. The gas lines are new, as is the windshield. The rest is original. The paint appears to have been a respray, but I do not know when. The paint is not perfect, but there are no dents.

When I got the car, the odometer said about 35,000 miles and the seller told me that was accurate. However, I had to have the speedometer rebuilt and it now shows just a few miles. The interior wear items indicate that the car does have less than 50,000 miles on it. The engine runs like a top and does not appear to burn oil. It does have an oil leak, but its not too bad. All the instruments work.

The base model is a Super Beetle and it has a 1600cc engine. This is a collector car since its a Sunbug, but I cannot find out how many were made.
