Description

I'm the 3rd owner of this amazingly clean and almost 100% original pearl white 1965 bug. The car was purchased by the original owner at McPeak Motors in Walnut Creek California. He then was going to college in San Francisco to become a teacher. The parking pass sticker is still on the original windshield from 1967! He then moved down to Fresno, California where he worked as a teacher. The 2nd owner was actually a student of the original owner, and kept in touch with the original owner years after, and ended up buying the car from the original owners wife after the original owner had passed. Then the 2nd owner decided to move on and contacted me off a wanted ad and I made the purchase. The only thing that isn’t original are the seat covers, and those can be bought through Wolfsburg West. The paint is all original, it has original numbers matching engine, the original service booklet shows proof of it, and the engine runs amazing! The engine literally fires at the turn of the key! It has the original transmission which shifts perfectly with no issues, it has the original key which works both door handles and the ignition switch, the original German fuel pump was just restored by Ed Fall, it has the original service booklet, the original owners manual, the original Blaupunkt radio works perfect and has it's owners manual as well. It has both original dealer plate frames, it has the original California license plates, original carpet, original headliner, original door panels, original jack, original trunk liner, original wiring cover, NOS Hella flasher relay, original mint bumpers with dealer installed bumper stiffeners on each bumper, all 5 date matched original paint wheels with the original hubcaps, original running boards, and all its other original parts. The heater channel and fender well paint looks just as amazing as the paint on the outside of this car. This is by far, the cleanest 65 available, and definitely one of the cleanest cars available period. The car runs and drives like a new car. I honestly can’t fully explain how clean this car is. True survivors like this one don’t come up very often. I'm sure I left out quite a few details, but you can call and I’ll be happy to go over every detail with you. I'm a mechanic, and I do all of my own work. I'm as meticulous as it gets, and I have gone through every inch of this car to make sure it's exactly what I'm saying it is. You truly won't be disappointed with this car! If you have and questions or would like more pictures please give me a call at (916) 591-5692
