1983 Rabbit Pickup Truck "Caddy"

Description

I purchased this truck from the west coast, and drove it home. I have replaced a few maintenance items in the last month, as well as brand new Rokkor front coilovers, Rear drop plates, 15x8 Et20 wheels and 165/50/15 Tires, all which have roughly 400-500 miles on them. This truck runs great with a high/low fluctuating idle being the only issue it has. This has a 1.8 Motor in it with a small Cam, and it is very peppy and gets amazing Gas mileage! There is not a single spot of rust on this truck, which is nearly impossible to find these days! I will be getting knee surgery soon, and will be out of work for 4-6 weeks which forces me to let this go to a new home. We were planning on ABA swapping this, and using it as our shop truck for the next year, but it is honestly too nice for that, and in the spring time we will search for something a little more rough around the edges. The gauge cluster was replaced with one that reads 155K miles, but actual mileage is roughly 109K original! There were 93K original miles on it when it was completely restored 4 years ago!
