In the middle of a remodel so have to let my baby go. Previous owner did initial lift/engine/tranny/build. About 2 years old. I was told its a 2085cc motor. The odometer does not work. Fuel/oil/temp do. Custom trans with hwy gear (does 70 on highway but low gears are plenty for trail- great combo for traveling) Plenty strong. I've had it serviced and thoroughly gone through by custom vw shop Bajaworx here in Yucca Vally Ca. My goal was to keep the body as original as possible. Came with dual carbs but I downsized to a single so I didn't have to balance. Put in cage, new seats, upholstery, brand new BF goodrich 235/75/15 with full size spare. Sound deadening material in 3/4 of cab (was doing it in sections). New headlamps, custom mirrors, door locks, and FOX reservoir shocks in back. So much has been done to car. There is a slight hum in the throwout bearing which will have to be dealt with at some point but there are hundreds of miles to run before. I have priced accordingly. I have spent 13k on the car. Body and int are super straight. No surprises.
