1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible

I am selling this Super Beetle for a friend and will attempt to provide an honest assessment of it.This vehicle is a beautiful driver quality car. The paint is still bright with a few scratches that one would expect from theuse it has received. I did not detect any body work when I looked the panels over. The original 1600cc fuel injected engine and transmissionwere professionally rebuilt 17,000 miles ago, and the clutch assembly was replaced. The front brakes havebeen converted to disc and the front struts have been replaced. New deluxe velour interior components were installedand are inperfect condition.The only issue I found was the interior headliner might need to be replaced. There is a folder that will go with the purchase containing documentation of what I have mentioned, and muchmore. I can provide those in detailif requested.This vehicle drives straight and the engine produces what you would expect from 50 horsepower. What it does best is provide fun, especially with the top down on a sunny day. I have driven it on a number of occasions and it just makes you smile.Let me know if you need additional information; I will do my best to provide it.
The car is currently titled and registered in Nevada. We will require payment in full before the vehicle is released.
We prefer local pickup, however,I will be happy to assist a hired transport agency with pickup and loading. Any and all shipping must be arranged by and paid for by the buyer. It should be noted that the car is being sold as is, where is,with no implied warranty or returns allowed.
