1972 Volkswagon Fastback type 3, factory 1600 FI
VW has been in a dry storage building for many years. The VW will need to be fully service and gone through from being stored. The VW will start up with some gas strayed down the injection port.
Has 4 speed transmission, clutch seems to be in good shape.
The 1972 VW fastback original paint is Kansas beige and a good part of the paint is original with some touch ups over the years.
Body looks to be pretty straight, has some minor dings and dents.
No major rust issues, has original floor pan which is in good shape. This can all be seen in the detailed posted pictures.
Has original black interior that needs re-apolstered, rear seat has rare center arm rest. Missing door panelsand carpet. This is stuff you would have to replace anyway when restoring interior.
This 1972 VW fastback type 3 came with the very unusual factory radio delete option. The factory chrome antenna block plug is still on this VW. This is a extremely rare option.This can be seen in the detailed posted pictures.
Has Chrome Porsche wheels with good tires with lots of tread.
Have original owners manual and original key with factory metal key tag with vin number and dealer paper key description tag. Can be seen in posted pictures.

VW has been lowered using factory torsion adjustments.

This VW Fastback is a great project to fix up. You really never see these Fastbacks around. There usually rusted out or in pieces.
