1985 Volkswagen Bus (Total Resto)

Description

Up for sale is my 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon with fuel injected water-cooled four cylinder engine and automatic transmission. Earlier in 2018 a frame up restoration was completed including but not limited to interior, underbody, engine and transmission, outside paint finish and trim. Proper glass-out paint job was done including all new window seals and interior color key and floor refinishing.
Mechanically the van starts up and performs flawless. Transmission shifts flawless and underbody is silent on the road. Completely new braking system functions smooth and firm. Van has a matched set of 5 new Goodyear tires including full size spare with around fifteen-hundred miles on them. NO RUST OR DAMAGE AT ALL ANYWHERE SINCE VEHICLE WAS NEW!!! Odometer shows around 93k original miles.The van resides in Ocala FL and was put through road tests on the way to a music festival in Manchester Tennessee about 3 weeks ago, round trip of over 1000 miles. The van performed beautifully (see pictures). Really a sight to behold in person, the pictures do not do it justice. Can fit at least 3 kayaks or 5 surf boards. Vans reputation is legendary for camping/ beach/ cross-country trips. This thing spreads peace and love wherever it goes. Has been a lifelong dream of mine to own one of these but now I have no place to keep it. Van comes with many extra parts including complete factory A/C system but it is not installed.
