1969 VW Transporter Single Cab
Description
1969 VW Single Cab in unbelievable, unrestored condition, in it's original paint. Currently registered and insured and used for occasional cruising and collecting thumbs up from everyone I drive past :). This is one cool truck! Was originally sold in California, then onto Montana. Has been in New England for a few years, but stored winters and never seen salt. The undercarriage tells the story...clean! There's a small rust spot on the drivers dogleg, and some starting to poke through the treasure chest doors and gates. The rear gate and corner was hit at some point. Pics tell the story. All of these parts are available online. Awesome candidate for restoration, or could be enjoyed as is. There was an engine fire at some point and original motor was replaced with a 1500 single port (H5140019) and the paint in the bed was burned off and now has surface rust, a few pinholes. Runs like a top. 117,000 miles. Sold with bill of sale and current registration per Connecticut law. CT does not (will not) issue titles for vehicles over 20 years old. Please check with your state to verify that current registration and bill of sale will suffice for transfer of ownership.
