1966 VW Wesfalia camper

This 1966 Volkswagen Westfalia has a new lease on life! She has been refreshed with new proper sheet metal where needed and fresh paint as well as 12 volt upgrade.I just had the whole bus gone over with my air-cooled mechanic. She now runs and drives great. 1600 engine runs smooth, transmission shifts quietly, new brakes, new emergency brake cables, upgraded 12v flasher and electrics with new lights.This is what I consider a driver quality classic VW. The quality of parts used was the best, the paint finish work however is less than show quality. As you can see she has new floors, doglegs and other misc. sheet metal replaced with all the correct available pieces. All the wood panels are fresh and the front mats are the correct ones. If "buy it now" is used, I will include a brand new set of Wolfsburg West front and rear complete bumpers with over riders (unpainted). I have the Z-Bed brackets which will need installed to allow for comfy sleeping while camping. All the westfalia cabinetry is present and in very good condition. I will also include the missing glass for the jalousie windows. The pop top is the original canvass and showing its age but it still operates fine. The rear upholstery is the original VW mustard yellow.There are plenty of personal touches the purchaser can make such as curtains and possible seat covers for the rear, but in the mean time you will have a complete, functioning, well driving, classic, groovy westy that will draw the looks and smiles everywhere you go. I love this westy but I am thining out my collection and something must go.This Westy is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it's no longer available.
