Description
1971 VW Bus V6 is an awesome Running Camper Project. It has mosty-been in storage and has been driven less than 1000 miles since I had acquired it.
Brakes and Suspension: Seem to work and function great, but could always use the analysis of a professional.
Body: Very little rust and has a solid undercarriage with reference to spending most years in Nevada. Has body modifications and even a stealthy cargo compartment... Could def. use a full restorative paint-job etc. All doors open very sturdy and solid. Camper top does operate, but could use a new canvas. Apply imagination!
Utilities: Has camping connections, stove, and a rear heater. Fully unaware how and if any of these items are of working condition. Never thought-much about using them.
Tires: Need to be replaced. All have decent tread and multiple cracks from aged rubber.
Engine and Trans: Entire vehicle has been custom fitted with a Ford V6 engine along with the stock four speed manual trans. Looks professional; starts everytime with three pumps of the accelerator petal. Has a dual battery charging system that I don't know much about. Trans shifts great as the engine develops power and maintains cruising speeds.
Overall: Vehicle has low miles, but be preparred to evaluate on the basis pertaining to it being a vintage automobile.
Paperwork: There exists miscellaneous paperwork that will be provided to the new owner. Most of it is lacking great detail and significance. The title is from Michigan and was converted to a custom vehicle title. From what's known, it has to do with the V6 engine retrofication etc.
Notes: Seller reservers the right to sell at anytime, anywhere. Consequently, far from a VW expert... Please utilize you own judgement standards and classical expertise. Answers provided with relation to the vehicle are of strict-opinion and theatrical entertainment value.
