1969 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible
Description
I am listing my 1969 VW Karmann Ghia for sale as an auction item. It runs and drives after having been assembled mechanically by a trusted local shop, Always V-dub. It wants for further assembly of the various interior and exterior parts, of which I believe that I am including all EXCEPT the wiper assembly, the two interior door panels and please note that there is not a carpet kit included. There IS a “good” original top (white) and frame, though the rear vinyl window is yellowed. The second seat (a not photographed, matching black w/velour inset) comes with and is in good condition. The windshield is new. A complete rubber seal kit is included. The paint is fresh and the Cherry Red is the cars original color. I did the bodywork and painted it. I worked at a body shop as a youth and have painted two other cars myself, and the paint is very nice. This is an Oregon car last registered in 1982. The floors are original and had only a few pin holes which have been fiberglassed as were a few small holes near the battery. Included is about 1/2 gallon of the remaining body paint. Bumper parts are original and fine. A nice new wood steering wheel is included. I will provide more fresh photos to interested bidders of any and all of these items as requested.
