BEAUTIFUL Manx style dune buggy. Chassis is from a 1970 VW beetle, body is from Texas Buggy. Meticulously built, looks new. It has been in several car shows, always receiving several offers to buy and many accolades such as "the best looking buggy". You will find cheaper buggies, but you will not find one as nice as this one. If you want something to thrash around off road, this is not for you, too nice. If you want a buggy to drive around town and enjoy your newly acquired celebrity status, this is the buggy you want. I bought it 4 years ago with 100 miles since it was built, I have driven it to 2100 miles and sadly I am putting up for sale, I need the money for a new daily driver for me.Engine is a 1915cc, twin Webber carbs, run great, outstanding acceleration, although at 45mph it feels like you're going 100mph, being so close to the ground. Four speed manual transmission works great. Two steering brakes, mainly for looks since it will probably never see sand, but they are functional. All tires have lots of life left.If you don't like being stopped by people to ask you about your buggy, having your picture taken, given thumbs up by guys driving Ferraris, don't buy it. It get more smiles per gallon than anything else on the roadFully street legal.
