Description

1962 Type 34 Ghia. Super solid California/Arizona vehicle. I have found no rust other than three small bubbles that together are the size of a quarter. It began its ownership in Pasadena California and stayed until 1972. In 1972 it was purchased by it’s second owner in Arizona, who owned it until 2015 when I brought it back to Los Angeles. Second owner kept meticulous records and documents. The engine numbers and documents support that the engine is original to the vehicle. Vehicle is completely stock except a coil, distributor and fuel pump. I have an original rebuilt fuel pump dated to the vehicle in a box with the plastic cover. Pan is straight and rust free. Below the battery is solid and original. Tip of the nose was damaged and poorly hammered out by the second owner. I have an original front section ready to be installed. I have a set of original fog lights with reproduction German glass. IPS rocker moldings was installed today for some of the pictures. Holes for the rocker molding show they have never been repaired (see last picture). Body has some rough spots. Please ask for any pictures you would like. I have many and can take more. I see no evidence of any large repairs. Second owner verified it has never had anything more than small hits (nose and lower part of driver rear). Paint is terrible in my opinion. Looks like it was not prepped in some areas.

When I received the vehicle, I replaced the shift rod bushing, Serviced the transmission, Rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the fuel hoses, changed oil, adjusted the valves, tuned it, and went through the wheel cylinders. I drove it to and from my shop for a summer. It starts right up and runs amazing. Transmission is amazing. I would replace the seal at the shift rod. Although I would not say it has no leaks. it leaves nothing on the ground. I moved it after being parked for a year and floor was bone dry.

I have reproduction side emblems, some small molding corners for the glass. The correct rebuilt fuel pump with cover (as mentioned before) and I have a new old stock tail pipe and clamp.

Tires were on there when I purchased it. They do not leak. They have flat spots from sitting.

Buyer has two weeks to pick up vehicle before It will be a burden on my plans. That being said, I will be reasonable. I had a car shipped form the east coast recently. Covered transportation takes awhile to schedule.

I recently purchased another vehicle and just have too many at this time.

Millage is correct to the best of my knowledge. Receipts verify this.
