1965 VW Bus, orig black plate CA van, original interior, two owners - clean!

1965 VW Split window 8 passenger van2 owners, orig CA van (with original CA black plates, matching license plate frames and owners manual.Original 1500cc engine,Original grey mesh interior, including original rear and middle seats (basement stored). Front seats have been recovered. Needs front and rear floor mats.Has a very cool camper interior built by the original owner. Original owner was in the aircraft industry, and the interior has a bunch of cool engineering that lets it fold up, and fit snug around the original interior with out modifications. Similar layout to Westy interior with closet, folding bed, table, bench seat with underneath storage, and fridge/sink combo. Super cool! It had some mouse damage in main/fridge cabinet. Camper interior can all be included if buyer is interested, or I can keep it for another project. Likely both interiors will not fit in van together for shipping. Advertising it with the original interior included.
Van brought to WI in 2000 from GA.One repaint in 2003 (original velvet green lower half, top painted a slight more blue/green than the original blue white.) original paint inside with a few touch ups. Outer rockers were replaced with repaint, driver quality (5 footer). Has a little rust not repaired in bottom of inner rockers. Has a small around of rust in bottom of battery tray (just in tray, not in intersection with corner). Rest of the van is original metal and super straight and clean. Looks great!
Owner passed away several years ago and van sat in garage. Currently does not run and drive, but does not need much to get on the road.Looks like it had a battery issue, still 6v and likely needs starter and a little wiring work, Good time to convert to 12v if someone desired.Should pull engine/exhaust and housing and clean thoroughly, had some mice. Engine turns over easily and see now reason it shouldn't run well with a tune, etc.Should pull tank and flush replace/fuel system as needed.Brakes could probably use a flush/bleed but no obvious leaks I've seen, and they work.
Very clean, original van that shows well, has good history and would be any easy project to take to the next level. Clear WI title. More pics available. Very reasonable reserve!
