1985 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia
Description
I have decided to sell one of the classics, up for sale is a 1985 Volkswagen Vanangon Westfalia with 125,000 miles. This van is very clean, the body was redone last year. The van was stripped down to ensure a professional paint job, including removing all windows and the pop to, see last pictures. The van was primed with a high build urethane primer and blocked out, then painted with a base coat clearcoat 2k paint back to the factory color. All the window seals have been replaced with the euro seal kit, new canvas and pop top seals. When the van was redone it was also mechanically gone though and anything warn or in question was replaced. The van has brand new power steering lines from Gowesty, new brakes and hardware, rear wheel cylinders, rear wheel bearings, new e-brake cable that is properly adjusted, new clutch cylinder and slave cylinder, new gas tank, fuel pump and fuel gauge sending unit, complete engine tuneup, New water pump and thermostat, Oil changed and coolant flushed, new tires and the van even has a full tank of gas!
This van is very much original on the inside and in great shape, The seats are in very nice condition as is the upper bunk and all the cabinets. This van even has the factory radio and the literature from the dealership when it was bought in 85. I have all the camper curtains and mosquito nets and both of the tables.
This Westy drives/shifts smoothly and will stop on a dime. The van is complete and everything works as it should except the A/C. The A/C system is complete but I have never tried to charge it so I cannot verify that this works. Everything else I have checked.
Pictured is a bike rack that is brand new, if the van sells for the BUY IT NOW I will include the bike rack worth $400.00
