Description

This car was a daily driver until 2011 when it was pulled into a garage and parked. I bought this car as a project, but realistically with my age and health problems I'll never do anything with it. The previous owner owned the car since July of 2001, and according to them the mileage the odometer is showing, 149,970, is the correct mileage. Both front fenders have rust issues as seen in pictures. The under carriage and floor pans appear to be solid. The dash pad and dashboard are also in good shape.Even though I was told it was driven into the garage in 2011 I don't want to try to start it because I'm positive the gas has to be bad. The engine does turn over. The convertible top is decent, but as seen in pictures has duct tape at the bottom of the window holding it to the top. I'm sure that was to try to seal it and keep water from coming in.As to be expected the interior is in poor condition. If you're interested in this car and have to arrange for a company to pick it up make sure you tell them the car does not start. The car is so light it can easily be pushed up onto a trailer or wenched up onto a hauler. If you live local feel free to come and look at it. Even if you don't live local feel free to come and look at it.The car did have a factory option of air conditioning, but it is not in working order.Car is being sold "AS IS" as a project car with no returns or refunds. The car was stored in a garage until just recently. That's why I need it gone. I don't have storage. In my opinion it wouldn't take a lot to put this car back on the road as a great little survivor.Remove and clean the gas tank, blow out fuel line, basic tune up, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and a new battery. This would be a great first car project. No reasonable offer refused.
