1974 VW Thing Acapulco Edition, (surrey top) Rare Volkswagen

Description

Believed to be a rare (appx 400 made) Acapulco Edition VW Thing. Has the factory blue under the repainted white everywhere its supposed to. Hood, rockers, dash, licence plate light housing. have the replacement piece for the rear that has been cut out over the years for some reason. This vehicle will need restored, there are many of the parts here to put it back together, and new Surrey top frames are available (since its a popular option, but isn't a real one the best!)as well as all other parts. Floors are solid, there is some rust in the rocker and fender areas, but repairable for sure. I want to find the time to restore it, but I am not seeing that happening soon so it time to sell.
