Volkswagen Squareback Type 3
Pan section under driver's seat & passenger section under seat to battery tray welded in.
Both heater channels welded in. As seen in pictures. Minor rust still on car but has been cleaned with POR 15 rust preventative kit. Car needs paint, most rubber seals, fender beading, interior panels, new headliner, seat covers, carpet kit, 12 volt wiper motor, dash pad because original is cracked & covered with a plastic cover. Front passenger fender is original to car & rough but usable shape. Other three fenders that are black are in great shape. Both driver and passenger doors are original to car & in great functional condition. Front hood is from a 64 Notchback & Rear hatch is from a 65 Squareback, both are in great shape. New tires all around with new white wall inserts. Correct NOS brake master cylinder, new German rear brake cylinders & new brake shoes. Electrical in great functional condition throughout car. All upgraded to 12 volt except wiper motor. New Optima red top 12 volt battery. 1600 dual port engine disassembled to short block inspected & reassembled with new components plus seals by ASE certified mechanic for VW engines. Many new parts on engine. Carburetors rebuilt, bases bushed & tight like new. NOS fuel pump, distributor & many top dollar parts purchased. Key works from column like original no custom wiring.
Overall, car is in great, safe, drivable condition. Many upgrades, I have many pictures of work done & receipts of virtually everything done. Car could use new upholstery & paint. Plus, very minor damage to right rear making rear hatch on lower right have half inch gap.
