I Love Josie, but I want to buy a house so she's up for sale. I bought her on ebay 2/2016, cleaned and fixed her up nicely and add new updates each spring. I take her mostly on local trips, day trips, lunch at the beach, local routes, NY and MA VW camper meet-ups, and last fall to Nova Scotia. If she doesn't sell, I'm adding Toronto Vanning to the mix.
The previous owner gave Josie a new paint job and added a nice sound system. When I bought her I scrubbed her out, washed and rinsed all cloth and pads and reupholstered the back the seats. Once she was cleaned, I decided I preferred the original, so I ride using the original upholstery as slip coversbut I still have beige vinyl seat covers in the box. Both gas burners work, no water tanks, the fridge works great as a cooler. I keep drinking water and washing water separate.
