Up for bid is a 1969 black VW bug sedan. I have made several improvements including new seat covers, dash, floor pans, bumpers, brakes, battery, starter, radio, speaker, shocks, door panels, running boards, two fenders, and carpeting. It has a 1600cc engine with low mileage on it. It needs painting and the fuel gauge works randomly, the left turn sign does not work but the right does, and it could use a new ignition but it works. It has been sitting in the drive way for two years and it is time to downsize. It starts and runs once I charge the battery and I usually drive it around the neighborhood. Would recommend towing it due to high traffic volume in the area I live. Would be an easy project to complete and have a nice running VW. Tires are fair and the rims could be upgraded. The floor pans were riveted in and the bottom sealed with silicone; not a pretty job but effective. The headliner is new but I ripped it near the back window about 4 inches. The front windshield is new and the rubber on the front and back are new. I am trying to tell you everything I know but please ask questions. I have several extra parts if the high bidder wants them. (Carburetor (34 PICT), wiper motor, and a few other things). The car rack and a car cover come with the car.
