Up for auction is a Classic 1960 Volkswagen Beetle. This Beetle is mostly complete and ready to be restored. It is one the harder to come by Rag Top Canvas Sunroof Car. The car is complete with all of the body panels and glass. The Beetle is a solid car with some rust. The floor of the car is solid for the most part. All of the structure of the chassis, including the tunnel, is solid. Most everything on the car appears to be original. The car has the transmission in place, it does not come with an engine.The interior includes the two front seats, front and rear door cards. The canvas sunroof mechanism in complete and works. It also comes with three extra headlight lenses, a tail light, an ash tray, and passenger door lever pieces. There are quite a few positives about this rare Beetle, the car will need work though. The floors do have a few holes in them. The car has a bit of surface rust on it as well. Although the car is missing some things, it would still make a great restoration project. Everything pictured is "as is" condition. The car has been stored outside for a period of time. Buyer agrees to a $500 deposit within 24 hours and full payment due within three days of auction close or at pick up. Buyer is responsible for arranging pick up.
